Fix incorrect info about a road

  1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
  2. In the top left, click Menu Menu .
  3. At the bottom, click Edit the map and then Wrong information.
  4. Select the road or place you want to fix from the list.
  5. Select the type of info you want to fix.
  6. To send your feedback, follow the on-screen instructions.

Add a missing road

  1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
  2. Click Menu Menu.
  3. At the bottom, click Edit the map and then Missing road.
  4. On the map, click the location of the missing road.
  5. Add the road name and any extra information. 
  6. Click Submit.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. On the bottom, tap the "Contribute" tab.
  3. Tap Edit map and then Add or fix a road.
  4. Select the type of info you want to fix and then Select the affected road.
  5. Tap the road you want to fix from the list.
  6. To send your feedback, follow the on-screen instructions.

Add a missing road

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. On the bottom, tap the "Contribute" tab.
  3. Tap Edit map and then Add or fix a road.
  4. Tap Missing road.
  5. Move the pin to the location of the missing road.
  6. On the bottom right, tap Add point plus.
  7. Drag the pin and add more points to draw the missing road.
  8. Tap Next.
  9. To send your feedback, follow the on-screen instructions.
iPhone & iPad

Fix incorrect info about a road

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. Tap your profile picture or initial Account Circle and then Help & Feedback and then Send feedback.
  3. Tap Report a data problem. 
  4. Select the road you want to edit on the map and the type of info you want to fix.
  5. To send your feedback, follow the on-screen instructions.

Add a missing road

Tip: You currently can’t add a missing road with an iPhone or iPad. To add a missing road, use a desktop or Android phone or tablet.

Method 2. Use the Google Street View App

In December 2020, Google released an app that enables individuals to take their own images and add them to Street View. It does not require any specific equipment other than the app, which is currently only available for Android devices.

Method 3. Become a Certified Google Maps Partner

If the manual option doesn't fit your needs or solve the issue, another option is to take the steps to become a Google Maps Partner.
